What it does
Taqaud is a web-based retirement calculator built for Saudi Arabia. It is written entirely in Arabic and runs in any browser, with no app to install.
On 3 July 2024, Saudi Arabia changed the rules for GOSI (private-sector social insurance) and civil-service retirement. Taqaud walks a worker through those changes using their own birth date and contribution history, and shows where each number in the result comes from.
The calculator covers both private-sector GOSI members and civil-service employees for retirement age and early-retirement eligibility. Pension amount estimates are available for GOSI private-sector members only.

What you get
- Retirement age and dateShows the statutory retirement age under the 2024 rules and the calendar date it falls on, using GOSI's own 22-row age transition table.
- Early-retirement eligibilityChecks how many months of contribution are needed to retire early, using GOSI's 7-row table for the amended system.
- Estimated pension (GOSI members)For private-sector workers, estimates the monthly pension. Time before 1422H (which began in March 2001) is divided by 600 with a dependents' supplement; time after is divided by 480, capped at 100% of average wage.
- Hijri and Gregorian datesAccepts birth and contribution dates in either calendar and always shows the retirement date in both.
- Every step shownEach result is broken into the calculation steps and the official GOSI table row it came from, so you can check it yourself.
- Nothing savedAll the math runs in your own browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored anywhere.
How it works
You enter your date of birth, the date you first contributed to GOSI or the civil-service system, and your contribution months up to 3 July 2024. You choose private-sector (GOSI) or civil-service, and for a pension estimate, your average wage.
Taqaud matches your age and contribution length on 3 July 2024 against GOSI's official transition tables to find your retirement age and early-retirement threshold. It then shows the calculation and its source.
What it does not cover
- Civil-service pension amounts are not calculated. Saudi law pages for civil-service pension rules could not be reached to verify the formula, so only civil-service retirement age and early-retirement eligibility are shown.
- Military retirement is not covered at all.
- For workers with no prior uncompensated contribution (the new 1445H system), the early-retirement eligibility conditions are shown but the reduced pension amount for retiring early is not calculated yet.
- Non-Saudi residents are not covered. Saudi law only pays a GOSI pension to Saudi nationals; non-Saudi workers fall under a different insurance branch.
- Results are estimates based on what you type in. Your actual GOSI record may differ, so the real number comes from GOSI, not this tool.
Privacy
Taqaud has no accounts and no login. Everything you type, including your birth date, contribution months, and wage, is calculated inside your own browser and is never sent to a server or saved anywhere.
The site itself does not set cookies. No ads are currently running on the site, so no ad-related cookies are set today either.
The hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and request time, for security purposes. These logs do not contain anything you typed into the calculator.

Questions
Is Taqaud affiliated with GOSI or the Saudi government?
No. Taqaud is an independent tool, not affiliated with GOSI or any Saudi government body. Results are estimates; your official figures come from GOSI.
Does Taqaud calculate civil-service pension amounts?
No. It shows civil-service retirement age and early-retirement eligibility, but not the pension amount, because the official civil-service pension formula could not be verified from a primary source.
Does Taqaud work for non-Saudi residents?
No. GOSI's pension branch applies to Saudi nationals only. Non-Saudi workers are covered under a different insurance branch and are not eligible for a GOSI pension.
Why might my result differ from GOSI's own figure?
Taqaud uses only what you type in, while GOSI uses your actual recorded history. Differences can come from months or wages recorded differently than you remember, previously compensated periods, or other record details.
Does Taqaud save my information?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to a server or saved, and it disappears when you close the page.
